The Swedish multi-national engineering group, Alfa Laval will feature its recent developments and solutions within water and waste water treatment during WEFTEC 2008.
From the beginning, Alfa Laval's ALDEC G2 decanter family managed to set a new industry standard for cost versus performance in sludge dewatering decanters. The most recent addition to the range is the ALDEC G2-45, a decanter for treatment of sludge produced by municipal, industrial and potable water treatment plants. The range now covers all types of capacity demands in the industry.

Alfa Laval Octopus Plus is an intelligent "autopilot" system for use in sludge dewatering with decanter centrifuges. It has one sole objective: to make the sludge dewatering process at wastewater treatment plants run at its absolute best at all times.
- ALDRUM : Thicker sludge is better
The ALDRUM drum thickener is a range of mechanical sludge thickeners. It works on the principle of conveying polyelectrolyte treated (flocculated) sludge through a slowly rotating drum filter. The sludge remains in the drum, while the water phase passes through the filter cloth. The Sludge concentration can thus be regulated by adjusting the feed rate, angle and speed of the drum.
